Hart Board Back Decision for Castaic Residents
Well here it is the big argument now. Now we are going to get into the language that has been used. We know the Castaic Community has been wronged by the Hart School Board. So, we need to determine how to look out for our future kids needs until we get our high school. I just still don't understand, who is responsible for getting us a highschool? At the last meeting it was stated that the community hasn't done what they need to do. So, what is it that we need to do to get a school built. At this point, I just know we need to make it a priority to go to the Hart School Board Meetings. We need to keep our community in their minds constantly.

Hart district board members said Tuesday that they did not go back on their word when they voted last week to send incoming Castaic freshmen to Valencia High School for the next two years.
In a 2003 district boundary recommendation, adopted by board members, the Hart district intended on assigning the "majority" of Castaic students to West Ranch High School until a new high school could be built in Castaic.
With a stated mission to establish attendance boundaries that will result in equally strong junior and senior high schools across the district, the superintendent's advisory committee on school attendance boundaries, final report and recommendations, was formally adopted by board members on Feb. 26, 2003.
